MOUNTAINEERING___FITZ ROY Circuit
The Fitz Roy circuit walked around the Fitz Roy massif visiting the rare North and West Fitz Roy faces. It has moderate climbing difficulties but a great commitment. Huge glaciers, several rappelling down pitches and long journey, it will be the quintessence of this round trip. We will leave the small town "El Chalten" going to the bucolic "Los Troncos" refuge. From here we will ascend "El Cuadrado" Pass a spectacular open window to the most impressive Fitz Roy North Face. We will walked around this face to reach the most impressive Fitz Roy face, the West Face where the well known all over the wold "La Supercanaleta" route is located. There are 7260 ft of perfect granite rock from where we are to the Fitz Roy summit. We will descend following the long Torre Valley down absorbed by Aguja Bifida, Cerro Standhart, Torre Egger and Cerro Torre on the West side and absorbed by Fitz Roy, Aguja Poincenot, Aguja St Exupery, Aguja St Rafael

and Aguja de la "S" in the east side of the Valley. You won't ever forget the feeling to walk under those huge granite towers. Just in Karakorum you'll sees something similar all over the world. Finally we will arrive to the Agostini base Camp to leave real Patagonian dreams in the background.

Day 1: Arrival to Santiago de Chile. Hotel accommodation. Meeting point.
Day 2: Flight to Punta Arenas. Transfer to Puerto Natales. Hotel accommodation.
Day 3: Transfer to Chalten. Hotel accommodation
Day 4: Trekking to Piedra del Fraile Hut.
Day 5: Trekking to Paso del Cuadrado. Camp 1
Day 6: Paso del Cuadrado - Fitz Roy´s West Face. Camp 2.
Day 7: Fitz Roy's West Face - Polish Camp. Camp 3
Day 8: Polish Camp - Bridwell Camp. Camp 4
Day 9: Bridwell Camp - Chaltén. Night in Chaltén. Hotel accommodation.
Days 10-11: Extra days because bad weather conditions.
Day11: Night in Chalten. Hotel accommodation.
Day12: Chalten-Puerto Natales (private land transportation). Hotel.
Day13: Transfer to Punta Arenas. Flight to Santiago de Chile. Hotel accommodation.
Day14: Flight at home.
