The incredible Patagonian granite needles are unique in
the world of climbing. Cerro Torre, though only about 11,000 ft high,
was once considered by many climbers to be the most challenging summit
in the world. From December to February we will be climbing select peaks
in this spectacular area. Our exact choice of routes and peaks will
depend on the weather, the strength of the group, and the general interest
of the group members.

Possible rock climbing destinations are Poincenot, St.
Exupery, Aguja de la Media Luna, Mocho, or Guillaumet. Other excellent
fast mountain climbing options are Cerro Solo and Cerro Electrico. If
you are interested in joining us, let us know. Dates, and costs (in the
case less than 4 group) will be finalized in response to the needs and
desires of the participants. We climb with a client:guide ratio not more
than 1:1 in the Major Rock climbing goals and 3:1 in the Cerro Solo/Eléctrico
climbs. In all of these Private Climbing Expedition we require you send
us a brief mountain and rock climbing resume of achievements. For people
with little rock climbing experience we suggest you book our "Climbing
Bariloche" extension in Northern Patagonia where we can determine
if you are really well prepared for the major southern climbing. If you
are qualified we can then prepare you for these more challenging climbs.
In any case we reserve the right to decide who is experienced enough for
the Southern Patagonia Climbing. We need to ensure that we meet the minimum
safety conditions to climb in the Fitz Roy Area.
