"Encompassing the southern parts of both Chile and Argentina,
Patagonia is also a land of legend and mystery"
David Neilson, Climber & Photographer

At the southern point of South America there is one of the most wild and wonderful places of the planet. “Patagonia” has a meaning unto itself. The word itself conjures up images of a remote and untouched landscape. The climate, the trees, the lakes, the glaciers, the mountains, the people…all are unique in this remote country. The region is close to 2500km long and filled with innumerable exploration possibilities. Traditionally, the Chilean and Argentine Patagonia regions were destinations for world class climbers with years of mountaineering experience. The long climbing routes and the strong winds made it necessary to have extensive mountaineering experience in order to traverse the area.
