Expedition format

The Mountain Climbing Program is aimed at people who want to learn to climb safely in all kinds of alpine terrain, anywhere in the world. As well as acquiring the necessary technical skills you will learn how to organize the logistics for an expedition to any of the world's great mountain ranges. During the program we will take the opportunity to share our experiences and knowledge among the group.

The program follows an expedition format so that you have the opportunity to practice at first hand all of the skills and techniques that you acquire.
This is the best way to learn as you will be putting your new skills into practice immediately and they will become an integral part of your personal experience. You will learn how to move safely and with confidence on all types of high mountain terrain…ice, rock, and mixed surfaces,…We will also help you to become self sufficient and able to plan you own expeditions and adventures. By following our Mountain Climbing Program you will have all of the skills and logistical knowledge needed to effectively plan your future expeditions and avoid frustrating delays and problems that can occur as a result of poor preparation or mountain craft.
	We decided to start teaching these courses when we moved our life to the Andes. We chose to base ourselves here because there is everything we are looking for, right here, in the Andean Cordilleras. The Andes are really big and wonderful …but the most important thing is that they are still really unexplored. There are large areas waiting to be discovered. We will use a 1:2 or 1:3 Instructor/participant ratio depending on the technical level of each aspect of the program. We will use the best ratio in each situation.
