Climbing in Torres del Brujo 11 days

"There, up there are the glaciers" shouted Don Segundo, the first to see the Universidad glacier. So excited was the man that maintains professionalism and has worked transporting people and equipment with his mules for so long. This place was filled with glaciers, virgin walls and high summits of these two Torres del Brujo appear. Against the immensity of the mountain they appeared quite small. After a calm but long hike we left the ranchers and headed towards base camp with the tent, the beds the kitchen, table, etc.
Base camp is not like home, but this is one of the best and it would still be difficult to drag myself out of bed.
These valleys offer excellent mountaineering terrain as well such as those to the summits approaching 4500 meters in altitude. These valleys only have a few ranchers, those who have been here for generations. When you come some climbing is a must. The climate in the valley is very stable and predominately sunny.
The first impression from the location at the base was ... uauhhhhh!! The lines are almost vertical and appeared very difficult from all angles. Later with time and hands on the wall, it returned to something more hospitable and familiar. The good weather allowed us to relax and enjoy the climb without the preocupation of other factors.
From base camp the towers don't stand out drastically, but as you approach they appear to shoot towards the sky. Perfect monoliths of granite, with systems of fingers, fissures, with lines and color. WHAT COLOR!! WHAT LINES!! Unexplored walls and routes. Routes from 1 to many days. The grand tower Falso Brujo is 600 meters high and according to the view there are sufficient if not too many routes and ways, Artificial, free climb or both. The small tower Aprendiz de Brujo is 300 meters high and also good. There are other factors (glacier, logistics, rivers etc.) that will affect the safety and which routes are most worthwhile.

It is a perfect rock for almost 600 meters with the rest of fissures and cracks for the climb to the summit. They forced the use of fingers, toes, hands, feet, shoulders, head etc. to complete. We endured and enjoyed it to the fullest. The rappel is direct and without complications, and over all there is nothing more to ask. The descent to base camp itself are worth the trip. There waited Don Segundo and Don Benedict with a small fire and dinner ready. (much better than our meals)
This is an excellent option and is what you would look for in the Patagonia. The climb and the time was amazing. The whole journey took us 8 days from/ to Santiago.
