San José Volcano 5880m / 19400 ft If you ask for the San Jose Volcano in Santiago de Chile everybody know it, Why?, just because if you drive into the Cajon del Maipo Valley the volcano dominate the end of the valley, because its really accessible by car, because it's a superb mountain and easy to climb without technical difficulties. |

Enough reasons to climb it. Such as
the Cerro Plomo, this Volcano is a perfect choice like a acclimatization
for higher climbing goals or a really good introduction for the beginners
mountaineers. The views from the top are quite impressive with the Cerro
Marmolejo dominating the landscape. Something different!!!! A good introduction to the Central Andes climbing peaks. |
